| Very nearly, I am lucky in having a 3 bedroom house one bedroom has a full length and ceiling height built in wardrobe which is pretty well packed from floor to ceiling with kits, a wall in another room is covered in shelves with a lot of the completed and half completed models and the rest are packed in sealed 44 litre plasic containers and stacked up under the house. I am kind of lucky I can spread my bits and pieces all over the house without getting any grief from her indoors. My girlfriend lives on the other side of town so I can have several projects on the go with out having to pack up or clear a space on the dinner table. |

Hello everyone!
I'm Darren. And I'm an alcho...oops wrong group). I'm from Kent, and I'm in a relationship with the lovely Cindy. I'm disabled, and I mainly model military vehicles, but I have been known to build wingy things, boats and ships, sci fi and figures.
Regards Darren. _________________ daz |

Just this once, I could bash him on the head with a sanding stick, just so long as everyone else doesn't expect the same _________________ Cheers,

Buy him one then!
But, to be fair, you have to buy everybody else one as well, Joe!

Hi there. My name is Simon MacKintosh. I live in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. I started modelling again a couple of years ago. In my youth, back in Scotland, Airfix was mostly what I built. Those bagged kits bring back great memories.
I spent many years flying gliders as a hobby and finding some glider/sailplane kits got me back into the hobby. Then I started buying some of the Maintrack vacforms of British experimental aircraft or aircraft like the P.1154 that never got much farther than the drawing board. My interests keep evolving.

Hi all, just registered to-day, so thought I would say hello.
I'm Lucy's Daddy, and it been a few years since I did some plastic kit modelling. I made a Canberra and F4 Phantom last time around, about six years ago, but like most guys my age, I guess, i made kits seriously between about 1968/9 and 1976 when I discovered free flight balsa.
So here I am, not cash rich, but can afford to buy a kit or three, and several boxes of half-used Humbrol paints and gawd-only knows what other kit building stuff in the attic (glues etc.).
One question, do I take it correctly that Airfix are still available, but not manufactured anymore?
Thanks for reading.
