|
|
Welcome to the Airfix Rotors Group Build for which Paula is Group Build Leader. Any rotorcraft in the Airfix range may be built. The build will take place from 17th January, 2008 until 17th March, 2008. This is the "Chat" thread for the Group Build and any reference material should be posted in the Reference Thread.
If you wish to take part in the Group Build, click on the Usergroups link at the top of the page. Then::
Go to the lower of the two drop-down boxes where it says "Join a Group"
Select "Group Build - Rotors"
Click "View Information"
Click on "Join Group".
Paula will then approve your membership of the Group Build and create a thread for you to record progress of your build.
That's all there is to it!
If you are not sure how Group Builds work, you can read the rules here.

No, I'm not sure either. I'm tempted by Little Nellie, but I've got quite a few others to choose from too. _________________ Cheers,

| Maybe I could actually start the SeaKing from the Falklands build that never happened. I did build the Bristol Belvedere but it really put me off - it looked like a flying sausage with goosebumps. |

Deputy's here (Sheriff just sent me an e-mail telling me she'd looked in and seen BAC's post on this thread).
Brian - I've just looked into the control panel for the Usergroup and there's no request listed from you to join. Could you try again, please, as I've already approved another member this morning so it does seem to be working alright at this end.
If not, we may need to ask for a mod's help!
Scratch that - I've added you "artificially" so you should now have access!. Don't understand why we didn't get your request though.

I have a choice at the mo,either the Chinook,or the Sea King. The Sea King would be interesting due to the fact it was given to me recently as a part built kit...And will need stripping to do little things like painting the interior...
It will be a nice challenge if i choose that route. _________________ Nigel.

As I've got everything cleared up now with the re-boxings.
I've given up my Sea King and will throw in a Navy Lynx instead.
In german or danish color scheme. _________________ Cheers, Jan

Hello, I think I will be doing the Belvedere HC1 from the box, as the Boscombe Down variant.
Regards
