Looking good mate, check my build for how I did the pom poms, found the second method much easier, nearly there.
The railings are easy compared to what youve already done, best advice do it in small sections, use a little of the micro scale (pva) type glue to hold in a couple of spots then brush into the join when set, easy, looking forward to the end result, boats look good a damn site more detailed than mine.

More progress:
funnels in place.
all railings now done
all AA armament now done - I glued the PE barrels and shields on the conical plastic bases of the kit guns to make them less 2-dimensional
cranes done - in a fit of lunacy I decided to rig them. That wasted a fair amount of time as the first Invisible thread I tried laughed at superglue.
now for the Carley floats!

Finished! A few hours of work on the masts and some final touches and it's done. At long last...
I went with the older foremast aerial - the White Ensign version of the square box radar looked too large to me - both for the look of the mast and from what photos I can find. So in the interest of aesthetics (and of getting the damn thing finished) I've gone with a fit that probably isn't historically accurate. Though perhaps my build represents a few weeks when she'd been painted in disruptive camouflage, still had the Walruses but hadn't been fitted with the new radar!
Anyway, an enjoyable, if rather long build. Thanks to the rest of the cohort for your comments and inspiration. My photos will bring up the rear in the gallery shortly.
