Well, it is not going to be fully accurate as I do not have the time to play with it properly. I am going to have to create the internal screen from clear plasticard, so it will not bear close inspection either. However, I am not a rivet counter, so as long as it looks like a T4, I will be happy!

A bit further on, the canopy is now on and she is all greyed up. The canopy is a poor fit to say the least, but since it was designed for the Heritage kit, I can't complain. Now just the wheels, nozzles, pylons and decals to go.

Well she certainly looks like a T4 to me. You've done a great job in mating the new nose and tail in. Definately worthy of a boy scout sanding badge I think.

Any thoughts on choice of markings yet?

Don't talk to me about sanding...........

It will be in the markings of ZB604 in the overall DSG (899 NAS in 1984) as per the Modeldecal sheet 075. I do like the later all over black as all trainers are nowadays, but I think the grey suits the naval aircraft better. Anyway, the Harrier is now decalled, just need to attach the undercarriage and the final touches before it is completed. I will post photos in the next couple of days.

OK guys, I'm finally done. I thoroughly enjoyed this build, and am reasonably pleased with the result. There are shape issues with the nose and tail, and the canopy was a dreadful fit, but in scratchbuilding  various items for this model I think my skills have improved somewhat (am particularly pleased with the vertical tail). And as Broom says, my sanding has also improved! Overall, it seems to capture the look of the T4N, which is what I was aiming for. I just hope you all think it comes up to the standard of the rest of the models in the build.

I am aware the photos are pants, I will borrow my friend's camera and replace these asap.

Very nice job on the conversion! Looks great, don't forget to post some pictures in the GB gallery once you have them sorted out.

She's a real looker and gets my vote for best looking Harrier so far.

Cheers guys, your comments are most welcome! The canopy framing is a little thick but I think it gives the idea of what it is supposed to be. The better pics may be delayed, as I am away on holiday from tomorrow and I have not been able to get the camera yet.
