Hi Ratch,
just a couple of things witrh the T.10's. Parts 114 and 115 are in a different position in all the photo's I've found - further back behind the LERX.
e.g.1
e.g.2

Secondly, have you got pictures of a T.10 fitted with an air to air refuelling probe? I couldn't find any so I left it off. The instructions are a bit vague between the differences between the three operators.

Good point's Rich  Think  I'll have another look at the references    I must admit to blindly following the assembly instructions for those parts

Hi there

The refueling probe is a bolt on kit for the real aircraft and the Gr7/7A and 9 have it permanently bolted on now.  The Gr5's of RAF Germany rarely had them fitted because their targets were a short flying time away.

The T 10s sometimes have them if they are deploying away on exercise e.g Norway.

I'm doing a T10 of 800NAS which has the probe fitted to allow it the range to do carrier landing practice.

hope this helps

I've repositioned the frog-eye thingies on ZH664, ZH665 & ZH659 and removed their refuelling probes. I've also removed the probe from ZD432, but left them on ZD407 & ZD329 as I found pix of them fitted

This is how XZ992 & XZ964 looked yesterday

This morning I used Xtracolor X18 BS285 Nato Green airbrushed over the upper surfaces of GR.5 ZD329

and GR.7 ZD432

While the paint dried, I did some decals on the GR.3's

ZX992

XZ964 - I used some of the kit decals, but omitted the 09 on the fin and the emblem for No. 1 Squadron as she would appear on the strength of No. 233 OCU at Wittering, 7th August 1984. I did add Wing Commander rank badges (bit of a whiff)

Mass production!  If I built all those it would take up all my remaining space!  I'd have to get out the firecrackers and sacrifice some old models to the Styrene Gods.

Following Owen's problems with the undercarriage of the GR.3, it was with a little trepidation that I fitted XZ992's landing gear    but everything has gone OK and it sits nicely on all wheels

XZ964 & XZ996 are all but finished    Matt Cote and a little weathering to finish off

ZD329 (the GR.5 of 1 Sqn) lays on her back next to the GR.7 of No.20 (R) Sqn, ZD432

And the remaining grey smokers

I've used several weathering techniques, dry-brushing, panel washes, Gouache sludge mixes, pastels & crayons    I've not decided on which method to use yet  Nailbiting

Well they are sort of NP already as they were all RAF Wittering aircraft
I'd like to put them all together on a baseboard, although probably not like and airfield

Cheers Brian
I'm declaring the GR.3's finished
XZ992 was with No.1 (F) Squadron at Wittering on 29th March 1982 and by April had been allocated fin code – Red 05. Left Wittering on 28th May for the Falkland Conflict, returning to Wittering on 16th November 1982.

XZ964 (P) was on the strength of No. 233 OCU at Wittering, 7th August 1984.

Meanwhile progress is being made on the GR.5

Impressive work Ratch. You must have more Harriers than the RAF!
