Here's our intrepid aviator, attempting to explain something to the crew chief. The crew chief is reaching for a rag, so it looks like he's about to "repair" a hydraulic leak. (Nothing I've ever done!)
This is the Airfix GR.3 with some decals and a crew chief figure taken from the (very good) ESCI kit.

Congratulations Dancho! First past the post and before I've even started mine too... I particularly like the 'sealant' round the rear half of the canopy.

Excellent build dancho!!
I've got a set of decals like that from the Sky Models Harrier sheet, but I think when I get to that stage I'll ust the kit ones. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Not in the same league as dancho but I had fun building it. All brush painted.
What if the Red Arrows got their hands on a Harrier...

A few more shots of the experimental scheme from 1984.
Sorry I can't get any closer shots. Every time I try they come out all blurry. |

They look great. I had the same problem with the camera until I learned that Fuji(film)-ian for "close up" is a picture of a flower.
Get it? You'd want to take a close up of a flower.
I'm sure it made sense in the Fuji lab at the time. _________________ “Build what YOU want, the way YOU want to, and above all, have fun.”

Thanks lads.
Cheers dancho. I've found the flower button on my camera. Here's some more close up shots.

Half of my GB is finished, the P.1127. Not my best effort but okay if you squint a bit.
