Looking down my list I find the 1/24 Hawker Hurricane Mk 1 flown by Sqn. Ldr. Peter Townsend of 85 Squadron, Church Fenton, September 1940. Maybe a bit too big  Juggling
Next is Boulton Paul Defiant of No. 8 Sqn, flown by Pilot Officer Frantisek Chabera with Sgt. Karel Bednarik, 1941. But hasn't someone already claimed a Defiant
The next oldest is a BAC TSR.2, XP219 flown by chief test pilot Roland Bearmont over Preston, Lancashire. Not ready for that one yet  Nailbiting
So it looks like it'll have to be 04001 Vickers Armstrong Wellington B.III to represent FQ-S s/n Z1732 of 12 OTU, based at Chipping Warden from June 1941 to January 1945.

From the pics I've seen, it was green, black and a red oxide colour! Plus the allu geodetic structure.
A very unusual bird.

It depends which part of the A/C you are in. Exposed fabric would probably be streaky red primer like this:

As Morgandude has pointed out the geodetic bits are natural aluminium - the pics I have seen of this show up us dull/greyish in appearance. Other metal parts would most likely be in interior green, although it became common to paint cockpits and turrets in black as an anti glare measure.

Here's what I've been doing

My interpretation of the interior
Next to nothing can actually be seen

I replaced two of the kit crew with two altered ones from my spares box

The joining of the fuselage was problematic in that it seemed very thin, and needed persuading to marry up  Nailbiting

I seem to remember having this problem with mine Ratch. It's caused by the front turret being slightly too large for the hole I think.

I like your build!

I once stood with a Wellington like yours and gave it away to a friend to lure him into our hobby

It didn't work though   .

All the best from Jesper.

That looks like a challenge

What are the diamonds on the wings? Fabric Panels? Armour Plating? Asbestos Roof Tiles

The camouflage was retouched and I've just brushed the under surfaces with Matt Black
