You will notice I knocked one of the landing gears off. They don't make landing gear the way they used to

PS - Dunno about P-38s, they don't look very safe to me!

A P-38 in a compressibility-locked dive is still safer than being in a P-47 that you can't get out of!

Almost finished now.

I'm not adding the drop tank and rack, if you hadn't noticed. I added a DF loop from steel wire wrapped around a paintbrush handle.

Aileron and elevator tabs were done with Gunze RLM 23.

Wheel bay painted Gunze RLM 02.

Exhaust stubs were painted with Testors Metaizer "Exhaust".

Exhaust stain and postshading done with Tamiya Smoke.
