Actually it's good that they won, it's an area we haven't really done before. I do assume everyone will have the good taste to do the Anson Floatplane trainer from No.35 Sqn SAAF

Anyway, I've got a Catalina that I could do - been looking forward to that!

From previous discussions, here's the list of 'standard' Airfix kits that would fit the bill:

Short Sunderland III
Grumman J2F-6 Duck
Vought Kingfisher
Supermarine Walrus
Arado Ar 196
Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina
Supermarine S6B

with possibly also the DHC Beaver, which I recall used to have a floatplane option.

On top of that lot, there's also the possibility of converting others into floatplanes (although I think Ansons should be banned).
