And here's my effort:
An Arado 196 float plane circa 1942 and the Eastern Med. A degree of uncertainty (on my part) as the aftermarket decals were clearly labelled wrongly (even I can tell it's not a Henschel...). Of course it has no business finding itself on a Hipper class catapult but I reckon it reflects a little known incident when Force H were asleep or chasing around points west and a German cruiser took its chance to slip out of a French Atlantic port and into the Med to try and inject a bit of spine into the Regia Marina. This wasn't successful but it did pick up a replacement seaplane before quietly returning to Brest
Base kit with many many aftermarket extras - in particular, Eduard, Airwaves and WEM sets of PE - the former for the aircraft, the latter supplying the catapult and the Airwaves being almost useless - only buy this if you want to make one with folded wings, otherwise the Eduard is superior in virtually every other aspect. Other additions were a Falcon vacform canopy, a resin MG and various scratch built extras, especially for the catapult.

Ayup Digs...
Well done mate. That Arado is really, really special.
And a fabulous job on the Catapult. Really. well done. All the other floatplanes are good too. _________________ Airfix Member 022... Jolly Boy.

If there is a competition for the best build of the year I think Digs just won it.
