Hornby Hobbies has an ebay 'shop' with the title hornbyhobbiesltd.
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/hornbyhobbiesltd/

I came across it whilst searching for a certain model

Hornby have listed over 300 [currently 329 items] items from across the company range.
95 or so which are Airfix items - not all are kits
Several items are discounted.
eg;
Tiger Moth starter set £4.99
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Direct-from-A ... 2054517506
Ford Fiesta WRC starter set £9.99 [just one of]
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airfix-Cleara ... 2149362389

Standard Hornby post & packing charge of £4.98 applies
Just to check; I put three items into my 'basket' and it showed up one single £4.98 charge, the second and third items showed as 'free' postage.

I just bought two current kits at less than my club discount price plus one 'discontinued' kit.

Unfortunately they do not ship to Australia. Question though why does an organisation the size of Hornby have the characteristic of a one person shop. I refer to the message about being away for a couple of weeks and orders being processed on return??

Perhaps because ony one person within the company runs it? Hornby are not a huge organisation (< 250 employees, I believe) so it is likely this is a part-time duty for some who, like all of us, is entitled to time off occasionally.

Yep fair call, would seem to be separate exercise from their normal online shop. Still for us colonials it's all academic given they do not ship out our way.
