I am beginning with a Mossie, and due to a bargain find on E-Bay a little extra will done with it:
As the forward bomb bay will be open, inspired by Lincolnlanc I shall have a go at fitting ou the rear bay with a couple of 500lb bombs. |

This evening I have been doing my usual 'hacking and bashing'
The cannon bay was mounted on a piece of plasticard and then this was cemented to the fuselage. The slow setting of the poly cement allowed time to get the positioning right.

And here it is. The removed doors have been thinned down considerably and the retraction jacks are cut down items from an Airfix Lanc.
Also opened up the holes in the cannon bay cover.
A close up of the bay. No more detail to be added as the 500lbers will fill the area.
The etch forward bay doors under construction. curvature created by bending around a craft knife handle.
In the foreground are the kit bombs and a couple Tamiya ones from the spares mountain to hang on the external wing racks.
