4th most boring YouTube video: Airfix Lysander in-box review
Yes, according to the Daily Labourgraph, someone's video of the parts of the Airfix Lysander is the 4th most boring video on YouTube!

They liked the music though.

Very entertaining ..... the railway one on the same page is just right for Ratch especially with the wheels not touching the track at the start    oh yes and a very strange camera position, maybe it was held out of the virtual window.  ROTFL  Nice snow.

The person who made that video is actually a member of the forum. I know this as I'm messaged them on youtube in the past.

Not sure of their forum username though

who decided that making models is"perceived as being boring"?

I wondered about the membership as the Lizzie looked like one posted recently.  I hope the person carries on making the vids and poo poo to the Telegraph who gave away "boring model aeroplanes" not so long ago

Hey all

Good point walrus so were the Telegraph trying to make people bored by giving away kits .  Can see the meeting now 'new marketing strategy guys, the only way to get people to read a broadsheet is to make them bored enough to do it'.  Didn't realise  they had managed to pick an interesting hobby   .

The train vid has been taken down by the user , but thankfully we can still watch grass grow   .

Yup.....I got to 1:03 before I lost interest.  It's probably not the ideal format for a review really!

I imagine the video might get a couple of thousand extra hits now though!

All the best

Daily Labourgraph? Daily Torygraph surely?

This type of thing fascinates me from a sociological standpoint.  We have to face the fact that some people (maybe MOST people) do not "get" model building AT ALL.

So what?
4th most boring YouTube video: Airfix Lysander in-box review
It's true Dancho  a lot of people certainly don't get the making models thing. When they see a really well made one, they ask "where did you get that from"  ... I made it ... "get away you bought it"  oh yes you caught me out I bought it ......
"So where did you get it?"  I bought it you told me so !  "Well who sells them ?  "    .... well model makers.   " And where do we find these model makers ? "    ... ah you probably wouldn't know one if you saw one. .......
Away they go even more puzzled than before.

i'm out and proud
everyone i know knows i make models and i don't get ridiculed for making them.

I get ridiculed for having several boxes of the same type- but not for making them
well not to my face any way

The Telegraph's political team is fronted by two ex-Mirror journalists, hence its new name!

That should be corrected  NEW Labour, not a bit like real Labour. Or Blair Labour.
