Welcome
The Airfix Tribute Forum was set up for the discussion of Airfix models and other related subjects. Established April 2006.
PM 1/72 IAI Nesher (PM-222)
A very simple , if ill fitting kit of typical PM quality . I added a pilot , some spares box sidewinders , landing gear from an Airfix Mirage and decals from Condor .

Nice airbrush work and the colors look "spot on" for a USAF Vietnam bird (and, I assume, this Argentine Nesher).  What brand of paint??

Testors Model Master acrylics . Great paint but I wish they would switch to plastic tops like Tamiya . The inner part of the caps always sticks to the top of the glass jar

The packaging of the Tamiya paint is excellent.  I never throw away an empty paint bottle (or course) but I hoard my Tamiya bottles like gold.

Speaks volumes for the quality of this kit that you used a 45-year old one as parts donor...

Doesn't it though ? . PM kits really are terrible and if it wasn't for the fact that the PM kits I've put in the galleries were given to me I would never bother with them at all . I think I'm down to 1 left .
