That’s cheating Heggy!

But let me show my progress on my Mustang.
I only have some light weathering and small details to doo before I will call it finished.

A Happy New Year to all of you.

All the best from Jesper.

I'm just finishing off the 1/48 Hurricane, and have finished the 1/72 Halifax III. I've just started work on the 1/24 190 again, with yet more filling

Jesper,
You got those white surrounds tidied up very nicely.   It looks superb.

Lovely Mustang Jesper, think I'll have a US theme later in the year and the Mustang wil be top of the list to build for sure. Like to see her complete with your weathering done etc.

All the best,

Very smart Mustang, Jesper.

Two under going repair after damage at Telford.

Almost all the rigging on the the Gladiator will have to be replaced as the Lycra thread came from a bad batch and has dozed plus the undercarriage was broken.

With the Kingfisher I was again trying to replace dozed rigging when the float came off in my hand,  the only other damage being the radio mast.

You got two really great looking models there, Roger 410.

Sorry to see them in this shape, but I'm sure you'll do a good job on them.

With kind regards from Jesper.

Tonight cracked open the 1:72 RAH-66 kit and started the interior. I also did a little work on the F-4 Eggplane kit I am building for the woman.

I'm working on a 1/72 Spitfire Mark 1 gift set that I got for my 40th (I'm 42 this Jan!).

However I am working on it with my son (Harry age 3 and 3/4).
I do the glueing and most of the painting. He does some brush work but is mostly happy to watch, put the canopy on and off and use the pindrill to put holes in the box.

I'm tempted to ask for a Typhoon (Hawker not Eurofighter) for my b'day.

Graeme - modelling badly since around 1977.

Yesterday work recommenced on a 1/72 Spitfire 1a I started in December 2007. It is now primered and has a coat of Sky on the undersides. Work is also proceeding on the Airfix A10 I bought before Christmas. So far I've assembled the engines, tail and wings.

I started on the Academy 1/72 scale M1126 Stryker yesterday. A nice kit, but some of the parts are a bit fiddly - part eating carpets are going to love this kit .

Managed to get quite a lot done...VC 10 just needs Klear over decals then U/C fitted and re-fueling pods to be fitted...
The Airfix Jags decals were a nightmare, curled up and died !! Used a Xtradecals sheet instead and used a fine marker pen for some of the stencils. Will post pics later.

Mostly hang-overs from last year... I am working on:

Meteor U.Mk21 for the Cold War Jets group build (almost done now, phew!) - 1/72
Hobby Boss Hurricane, Revell Char B1 Bis and Renault FT17 for a diorama (thanks for the instructions Sarge!) - 1/72, 1/76 and 1/76 (but who's counting?)
Airfix TSR2 modified to carry Sharkit Douglas Skybolt missile for 'what-if?' group build - 1/72 (really need to make some progress on this one...)
Airfix Douglas Devastator for the titular group build - 1/72
Revell Airco DH2 - 1/72 (intended as light relief - what was I thinking??)

Well, without photos (sorry) but just to list my active builds, I have the bmi A319 that I'm doing as a demo build which is more or less built (landing gear needs to go on), sprayed white and now I'm battling with the masking for the blue section.

I have a Revell S-3 Viking waiting for me to gather the strength to decal it, so it's nearly finished.

I have a Matchbox Skyknight that is assembled, sprayed entirely white and now I'm building up coats of International Orange.

The Antonov An-22 is still going but needs me to take the next step with it.

Just for fun, I've also just cracked open a Pavla Culver PQ-14A in 1/72 that I got from Hannants last year at half price.

Started my VC10 (yes i did say that DH764) but have run into a few minor problems with it. Got some scratch building to do on it.

Also started a Spitfire Mk.2A today. Very quick build and should be complete by tomorrow.

Opened the box for my B-24D today as well. I can see me starting that tonight when i get in from work

Dan If its any help when I did my bmi A319. After trying with tamiya and not getting great results I tried some of that automotive tape. Mine was blue and about 2mm wide and worked like a dream
