Hello guys how are you?So i am not dead... My shortest holidays are over now and here i am again .For me the idea to make a dazzle Mauretania is born when i saw the Baumann s kit.It s an amazzing subject and i decided to make my own dazzle Mauretania. It s a very difficult subject and a hard challenge for me .i hope you like it.i prefer put the accent on the painting work instead of the building itself,i don  t think make a hight level building (with a lot of scratch work)but i prefer work on the painting job.I hope you like it .

Oh my, Remy, I'm waiting with awe to see your idea of a high level build!

My efforts at a Lusitania are going to look pretty sick alongside your ship!

Where did you get the bollards or capstans you added to the focsle and aft deck from?

Paul

[Note to self: if at all possible, try and avoid building the same kit at the same time as Remy in public in future...]

Great work Remy, do you use an airbrush or just a brush?  Your edges look so crisp and clear.  Cant wait to see the finished article.

Hi mister Chippy,i use an airbrush and a lot ofvery little sort of brushs and a lot of patience and cooooling to obtain this reasult... The building is not very easy ,great challenge as i say at the beginning...The majority of the airfix parts are build and now i started the conception of the scratch parts like guns, davits ,mast, life boats and rafts and plenty of other details...to make this beautiful liner like a troop carrier...

Hi Remy,
TOP MARKS! Absolutely stunning. You are a master builder. Just caught up with this as it isn't in the usual ship section.
cheers Stuart
