Still mulling over ideas for this one. I did like the thought of a Pacific Island airstrip but as Peter is doing something along those lines I feel I should go for something different.

Just to prove that I have not forgotten this one here is a picture of some of the elements that I am slowly gathering together.



As you can see the Airfix Forward Command post is going to be the featured building, the PaK 40 will also feature, not sure if I will use the Opel Blitz as yet, I may use an alternative towing vehicle. The picture frame will be used to form the base and the card sheet, which is a light weight material used by sign making companies, will be used to thicken the walls of the building.

Still a little planning to do but I hope to get this underway soon.

Cant wait. I have built both, a little observation i made while building the Pak 40 was the (legs?) werent very secure and fell of alot on mine. I am sure you will make a lot better job than me, just thought I would share

Thanks for the tip Daniel, strangely enough I have never built the Airfix Pak 40 (made lots of Matchbox ones) so any tips/warnings are very welcome.
