This is the second section of the poll, too many subjects to fit all in one poll   See Part 2a for further choice, this is a mulitple option poll.

Cheers

I wouldn't mind doing a Sherman - it's the one Airfix kit I haven't done yet.

Believe it or not.....I voted for the Panzer IV and Sherman too!

I will either do another OSL PzIV Ausf D, to see if forewarned really is forearmed when dealing with the current tracks.....Also saving me the expense of a 1/76 resin kit

Or, if it has to be a Sherman, then I would go for one or more US or Nationalist Chinese M4s operating in the Far-East.....BTW did the USMC use M4s at all?

All the best

No mention of USMC M4s in there.....I used that page to check my answer to your question about Shermans in Normandy BTW.

All the best
EDIT - Apparently the USMC used the M4A2 & M4A3 as mentioned.....They also used one company of M4A1s (A Co/1st Tank, at Cape Gloucester and northern New Guinea), but absolutely no M4s!

Sherman for me, I might convert the Airfix one to an early M3 bogied version with the Lee/Grant suspension

You shouldn't need the M3 suspension to do that, just reposition the given return roller.

This might help:

BOGEYS & WHEELS

You could modify the Airfix M4 bogeys, but they would not be strictly accurate.  One way to do this conversion at no real loss to yourself is to fit the Sherman with the bogeys from a MB/Revell 1/76 M7 Priest.  You can then fit the Priest with the Sherman bogeys giving you a M7B1.
