A popular GB,  keeping up with all the build's will be a task in it's self!

Isn't it just?  With 20 builds on the go, we should end with a great show of models!

I'm afraid I won't be around for the kick-off on Sunday, but good luck one and all!

Seeing a couple of Walrus in the build started me trying to remember if there was every an article for a conversion to a Sea Otter?

I've decided to make my DHC-2 Beaver as part of this GB. So farmroad do you want to make a separate thread for the Beaver or should I just use the one for my S6B?

Following my experience with my Grumman Duck, my advice to others is to fit the top wing first, then then the lower wing and struts, this should give the correct dihedral to the lower wing. Filling shouldn't be too complicated as the fuselage join is pretty accesible. Otherwise there are issues with getting the struts to meet the wings.

Best
Rich

I'll make a seperate thread so you can get cracking, it'll be less complicated that way.

Just under a month to go and we've already had a number of cracking builds completed!  My apologies for being a slightly absent GB leader - real life getting in the way I'm afraid.

Any one else building the Cat have very bad flash on there models? i have 1 pilot thats so bad he is encrusted in the stuff, and the 2 control colums are going to be hard to clean up

the torp/bomb things on the wing 1 half is about 50% cased in flash and many other parts have flash of some description on them.

EDIT: Also can some one tell me if part no3 in pic 1 of the instructions is sapose to have a hole in the bottom for part 1 to slot in to, as i think my part no3 is hole-less lol
