I will not be available for routine ATF matters from pm tomorrow, Tue 5th August until am Wed 13th August due to going off to Edinburgh once again and this time taking in Aberdeen for a couple of days as well.

If you have any problems of a routine nature then contact the other Admins or Moderators who should be able to help you.  Should you not know who they are, click on the "Moderators" link at the top of the page.  If your problem is of an urgent nature then contact one of the Admins who will be able to contact me by mobile but only if absolutely necessary.

See you in just over a week!

Dave

Had a great time in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.  Went to the Aberdeen Maritime Museum which is definitely worth a visit.  I got told off by some jobsworth for taking photos in the museum (I didn't realise photography is banned) and so I won't have many piccies to show you.  Met up with Iain (ejsnotgrass) in the museum for a coffee and a quick chat.

Fully rested I am now ready for whatever gets thrown at me, Admin-wise - I think!  Whatever, I am not intending to disappear again for four weeks.  Of course, I could just change my mind.....

Yes, they have a good range of kits - I was there this afternoon! If you want to see some older kits, head for the Museum of Childhood in the Royal Mile.

Edinburgh is absolutely swarming with tourists just now.

It is a long time since I last visited Edinburgh, must be due for another visit soon.

On my last trip I stayed just across the way from Harburn Hobbies and seem to remember the shop being pretty well stocked with almost everything

There is also Wonderland/Toys/Models on Lothian Road, I have not visited this shop but it seems to carry a wide range of kits.

Cheers
