Hello everyone  :D
My name is Andy,im 36 and got back into modeling in about 2004 after a break of about 10 years ( you know the reasons, girlfriend, wife, children etc etc.... )

I think my first model was a matchbox P38 Lightning made in about 1983ish when i was 11.

My favourite subjects are modernish day RAF aircraft, especially the Tornado F3 and the EE Lightning, but if it floats me boat i'll have a go at building it !!

Thats all for the intro....hope you like what you see  :D

Cheers  Andy

Model pics to follow shortly........

Best (and free) photo editing software I've found is Irfanview

http://www.irfanview.com/

Download, install then double click on a picture file.

To crop a picture click on the top left of the bit to keep and drag the mouse to bottom right, then Edit, Crop.

Click on Image, Resize/Resample, then either enter a new size in pixels or just click on some of the standard offerings.

When happy, File, Save As, etc.

Have fun.

Leuchars? At 375 miles/6.5 hours driving time each way from Leamington, probably not! I don't have the stamina of you 'boro boys.

Post some more pictures soon.

Happy modelling.

Hi Andy

Excellent models and photos.

Is that a smoked glass/perspex hifi lid you are using? The combination of reflection and black sets the models off a treat.

A suggestion, how about putting the model nearer the camera, raise the camera a little and crop really tight, you could cut out the room background and put the whole model against a black reflective surface.

I especially like the Lightning.

Colin
