Apparently, the crowd has moved on. Fickle group.
thomasweir-- magnificent models! Really fine work there.
Ratch-- that's an outstanding two-seater. Good job! _________________ “Build what YOU want, the way YOU want to, and above all, have fun.”

I don't know about the crowd but I'm still here!
If I haven't commented here on every other participant's build in this GB, apologies, it isn't intentional. The standard has been very high throughout and I have followed the builds with interest and learned a lot, thank you all.
One comment I would like to make though. Each participant can (I know I do) post aspects of the same model in their GB thread, the GB 'finished' thread, their own portfolio and the model's own thread (e.g. 1/72 Spitfire 1A). Indeed there may be other related threads to do with colour schemes, decals, modifications, etc.
I am not saying there is anything wrong in this but it may lead to the impression in some threads that there has been a lack of interest whilst in other threads there has been a lively discussion, of the same subject.
I suspect different members monitor the forum in different ways, I tend to search all posts since last logon, others probably prefer to follow threads they have started or contributed to, others follow perhaps all aircraft or all ship or AFV threads.
I don't think any method is right or wrong, I'm just suggesting that the responses on any given thread may not show the whole story for a given subject.

| I don't think people are fickle, probably just busy at the moment, especially coming up to summer. On the whole I think the participation for the GB has been fantastic, with the standard of models being very high indeed. Kudos to everyone involved in my opinion! It is just a shame that the models can't be displayed together, in the flesh so to speak. It would have been most impressive! |

My finished 1:72 GR.3. Long after everyone else, but I've not been here long...
It's nowt special, but I'm pleased with it. It needs a matt finish but I don't have anything to do that with yet so it's all done for now

What a wonderful bunch of Harriers, well done everyone!
With all the Harriers Airfix makes in all scales, is it the most abundant single subject they have?
