haha that did make me laugh Ratch, he's moved upstairs into our bathroom today. At this rate he'll e done by christmas...

Anyway, leaving the subject of the decor in my house, I made progress today.
I went from this:

To This.

Thanks to Ratch & some paperclips.
Snipped the ends off, lined them up, but of tamiya tape over the join & some contacta liquid special & I think I 'busied it up' plenty, & I'm pleased with the result. Thanks to colin for the inspiration.
Still needs a lot of tidying up but It's going well.

In answer to your query George, I also blanked the nose bay off and filled the gap between the bottom and the cockpit floor with lead. I also put some in the engine nacelles ahead of the main legs.
