The Sea King is used as a rescue helicopter, so it's Airfix and it's a rescue vehicle.

As mentioned somewhere above there was an item in the old Airfix Magazine about a Land Rover conversion, to a rescue tender. It was done for the Airfix 1/43 Land Rover Mk III. Not too difficult if I remember correctly, early 1977 ?? The Bloodhound Land Rover would need a whole new rear body and extended chassis for that one in 1/76 /72 scale. The Airfix (ex-JB) Landrover is a series III long wheelbase so that would suit especially the hard top.

The 1/32 1911 Rolls-Royce was used as both an ambulance and an armoured car in WW1.

Hi Loll I have the article in question, even with the 'new' Landrover kit it is still a case of taking a razor saw to everything rear of the drivers door. Though the front would not require correction as described in the article
