I've been looking through the past GB's, a nice trip down memory lane. Lots of interesting subjects and builds by the forum members. I collected a few stats which I think make interesting reading.

Since the ATF was founded we have had;

41 Group builds completed.
4 Currently running.
296 models completed in the GB's.

That averages out to 1.3 GB's per month, with an average of 6.5 completed models per GB. Pretty amazing figures, especially when you consider that in the beginning we had many fewer members.

We're very lucky to have such dedicated and talented members who like to take part in GB's, and share their experience and knowledge with the other forum members. I know I've certainly learnt a lot and had a very good time participating.

What was the most succesful GB in terms of finished models?
.....That would be the Harrier GB, but only because Ratch contributed about 20 builds

Looking at the latest poll for future military aircraft GB's I think we'll continue the success story, there seems to be no end to the range of GB's which people suggest   .

Future GB subjects seem to be well covered, with polls being closely fought affairs. GB's are a real asset for the site and are great fun to join in with.

Well guys as a brand new member to your site I can tell you I've been back several times today already and each time there's been new updated posts, more information that draws me in and it's a credit to all who participate in building this forum.

I have a long background in IT, have run several forums myself in the past, have a solid understanding of PHPbb and know how much time and effort it takes to manage such a service.

I for one would like to say a big thanks and I hope to see you in a near future GB !

GB is truly a fantastic and rather unique use for a forum!

Kindest regards, Spike
