Cheers.

I'll be building a TBD from the VJ set.  I will put up the photos tomorrow.

Cheers

I started the build yesterday at 3 pm.  Here are the photos of the kit and progress.

I'll post more as I get them off the camera.

I'm going to do the pre war scheme out of the box.

I couldn't face brushing on the yellow so I bought a can of Humbrol Yellow and after two coats the finish was very good.  This was the stage I was at on Saturday night, with the wife pulling her hair out because of the mess on my computer desk!!

Anyhow, I'm off to bed to try and sleep again!  Just looked outside and it's snowing!!!!!

Ayup Ginge...

And you're using Acrylics too!

'What do they want'.... ?

How do you find them?

Lol tell me about it

Yes I have been using Acrylics.  Silver from the Hannants range and a mixture of Humbrol and Revell Acrylics too.

All done!!!

Very happy with this kit, I might make the Buffalo in US Navy pre war colours now.  The only issue I had was with the Revell paints.  Very thick, leaving an awful finish.  I managed to thin it down a little in the end.

Cheers all.

Great build and finish in a short time, the rest of us should follow your example!

Thank you both.

It took me from 3pm on Saturday until about 5pm on the Sunday.  Wish more of my models turned out like that one.  Think i'll join the FAA GB next!

Cheers!
