Thanks Fea :thumb:

will be doing the 1/72 Sea Harrier from the falklands Set in the markings of this aircraft

My brother knew Eyton-Jones from his 892 sqn days when the latter was flying the Phantoms.

Last year we paid respects at the then recently opened Memorial in the National Forest Staffordshire

The build will have to be OOB with an Aeroclub replacement seat as i want to finish before the deadline for a change, but hopefully will still be a fitting tribute to RN pilots who have lost their lives.

Because it looked like a copywrite image and it wasn't clear whether permission had been given

Ratch,

I can assure you that permission was given, but thanks for protecting my rights, very kind of you.

sorry there has been no input
doubt if i will get to start this build before the deadline the way things have panned out

firstly thanks to Thomas for the intakes- i will use them on an Airfix Harrier i think as the Esci ones are attatched to the inside of the intake.

this would need to be cut off and stuck onto the resin and seems like unecessary work.  the Airfix kits will be a straight swap for the parts.

thought i might be an idea to post some sprue shots of the Airfix boxing of the Esci kit in the Falklands set

will be using sky models decals

will be using the Aeroclub Mk10 ejection seat, which is more suitable than the kit part which more closely resembles the Stencel seat for the AV-8.  Apparently the bulkhead behind the seat requires chopping out and moving back 3mm- oh joy
