Thanks for the comments.

 Over the weekend I've painted the red on the fin, spine and leading edges of the wings & tailplanes and given it a coat of Aluminium Hu27001. I'll post some pics soon.

I've got the paint on so here are some pics. I decided that the Hu27001 wasn't shiny enough so I've given it a coat of Hu191.

Here it is before the silver.....


and after.


At the moment I'm still at the decalling stage. Hopefully it'll be finished over the weekend.

Ta-Dah!   My first aircraft GB completed.

 The decals went on a treat despite their age and were sealed in with a couple of coats of Klear. I'd never used it before but now I wish I'd bought some years ago.







I was pleased with the way it went together and with the end result. It looks better than the one on the box IMHO.  
I'll post more pics in the gallery.
