thanks guys, i see what you mean about the pilot being "low in the seat" but with all due respect Rupert is only 4"2 tall

Very nice.

I'm just curios as to why you put 85 Squadron's hexagonal marking on the starboard side under the canopy, as far as i know only 85 Squadron aircraft had them on it.

thanks guys, yeh i know the markings are incorrect but i just got carried away with them i think if you look carefully you will find a few that are wrong  i must admit as time went on with this build i got less worried about inaccuracies.
also can anyone tell me what the W/L marking means that you can see on the side of it, thanks.

The W/T markings on WW2 aircraft IIRC actually refer to the positioning what are these days are called 'bonding strips'

These are pieces of metal which act as a contact between the flying control surfaces and mainplanes for lightning/static to flow through.

Without these it would pass through the hinge points of the surfaces and cause serious damage.
