What I am think of is very simple. I plan to make a section of the La Haye Sainte Farmhouse  (possibly a window) to go with my 54mm 95th Rifleman that I will also be making for the GB

I'm not sure that your current idea would fall within the paramaters of the GB.....The idea is that the focus of each build should be an Airfix model building.

However, I have to say that I think it's a great idea for a vignette!

All the best

I may see about getting one of the Airfix Airfield sets and doing that then. Possible the WWII RAF one

Cool!

It would be nice to have some more variety in the GB.....I'm sorry that I had to veto your original idea, doubly so because it was such a good one.

By way of compensation, I'll happily support a '54mm Single Figure Vignette' for the next Diorama GB, if you would care to nominate it!

All the best

No need to apologise Sarg, I'll just make the 95th Rifleman project as a sideline

You can get the diorama bases for the Airfix Airfield Sets (and others) direct from the manufacturers -Amera Plastic Mouldings, for a very cheap price. Ideal for if you already have a spit and a refueling set in your stash.

Just remembered that I have a smashed up RAF Control Tower in the spares box, I might see about incorporating that into a dio if it's allowed

As has been said elsewhere, a full refurb and incorporation into a diorama base would seem acceptable to me.

Since I haven't been able to do anything with this, I'm going to unsubscribe myself to the GB
