I'll be building a Spitfire 1a that I picked up from the Sutton Coldfield show for £17.99 a couple of years ago. Pictures to follow.

Here's a couple of pics of the box and contents.

Not much to report so far but I have made a start on the engine.

Have fun with this TimJ. What colour scheme are you thinking of? I was considering the lesser known scheme with the black and white underside, I could spray that scheme with the Humbrol cans (I don't own an airbrush).

I've done a bit of painting since the last report but I need to pull my finger out a bit.

Hopefully I'll be able to do a bit over the weekend and post some pics next week.

In case anyone's been wondering what progress I've made the answer is... er.... not a lot.

I've painted most of the interior and stuck on a few bits and bobs.

Over the last couple of days I've assembled and painted the propeller and engine. I've got a week off work so I'll see how much I can get done before I have to go back. Hope to post some pics soon.

I thought I'd give an update on my progress so far. As I said last month, I've painted and assembled the engine and prop.

I've also got the seat and support completed.

Hopefully I'll have more to report soon.
