You've sold me! Looks like I'm doing a Ju88G and a Beaufighter gents.
Have you got a decent plan of the fuselage gun pack? _________________ Bubbly! |

I'll dig out my kit and measure it up for you. _________________ “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” Winston Churchill |

I think the JU88 Nightfighter kit is being used as an example, however a kit-bash would be acceptable so long as at least half of it (preferably more) is Airfix.

That's right, I'm just taking measurements and photos/scans for Ian. I *could* make resin copies of the bits, but Ian's keen on using his balsa, which would be faster in any case. |

OK, I'll be in with the Airfix Beaufighter in US markings. DG/SG/OG with solid OD tail unit. 416th Squadron, Italy.
Really wanted to do the P61 but it is a MPC boxing of the Airfix kit. Oh well.
Ready to go whenever.
Cheers

Well I placed my order for decal film (clear and white) from Hannants tonight. I also ordered a sheet of the Owl nightfighter decals for the Bf109 since I wasn't confident I'd be able to print good enough decals. _________________ Airfix Club member |
