That's terribly sad news - he will most definitely be missed and, it sounds like, not just on this forum...

A photo of David? Hmmmm..... I don't have access to any recent pictures in digital format, some are still faithful to film. I have 'lifted' his pic from Armorama, and found an old one (archaeologist, remember) from my ongoing project to scan all the old family negatives...

Missing David doubly today.
It just ain't the same around here for me, not being able to ask for his help with tank markings or reference pics.....The 'Military Vehicles' section seems slightly empty without him.
