I finished a 1/48 Buccaneer a short while ago and was impressed with the quality of the kit, despite its 'unbuildable' reputation and folk here have been kind when commenting on it. That kit will be available for Telford.

Next on the list is a 1/48 Lightning, not decided whether F2 or F6 yet.

Also queued if time permits are:
1/48 Harrier
1/48 Jaguar
1/48 Tornado x 2

All are in stock and ready to start, just need to finish that  Concorde that has taken over my home!

Colin

Buy the aeroclub nose weight and nose ring for the F2/6. Solves a few balancing problems.

Hi Folks

I've decided to do this F6:
http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK...ish-Electric-Lightning/0655526/L/

XR728, personal aircraft of Group Captain John Spencer, 11 Sqdn RAF Binbrook, 1988. It is one of the schemes supplied with the kit which is a bonus so the build will be OOB apart from an Aeroclub seat, undercarriage and nose (thanks Tom). I'll leave the cockpit be open.

Not a difficult decision in the end, the aircraft is one of the two at Bruntingthorpe, I was sitting in the cockpit only a few weeks ago!

Should be fun.

The aeroclub nose weight from what i hear is essential. It also can be polished up nicely.

I like grey! Hu164 top and sides, Hu165 and Hu166 underneath, a splash of Hu11, what's not to like!

If it comes anywhere close to Dean's green & grey one I'll be happy (and more than a little surprised).

Made a start.

This will not be a tail sitter!

Cockpit is a bit sparse but once the seat is in not much will be seen

Nice pointy nose

Rear end

Nice kit so far. Resin bang seat is another extra.

Might have to get another one of these kits, I feel a Bruntingthorpe dio coming on...
