As a ten year old I'd have removed flash with a scalpel but I'd never heard of filler so paint was used (usually gloss) to bridge the gaps    I suppose we ought to use at least the type of paint supplied (potlets) and not try to correct inaccuracies or add any kind of detail (even paint-wise) - you get my drift

Me at ten.....Oh my!

I just bought this on E-bay:

I think it will be a fun kit to make, and you have great artistic freedom.

It depends on how sunburned they are, I suppose.

(Incidentally, I searched my local hobby shops and NOT ONE Airfix starter kit was on the shelves.  Yikes!)

Only if pink is included in the kit, remember.

I hope it's not.

I'm in. Not sure what colour the pilot will be though.  Will we be allowed paints for details or just what comes with the kit?

I've got the Spit Vb and the 262 sets which failed to ignite the imagination of my 8yo son. At least one of them comes with a tube of proper poly cement! If I have to use that blinking stuff I can guarantee a misted cockpit, thumb prints and the works without having to try to be ten again!

However if we are building this as ten year olds, shouldn't we be looking at a build time of about two hours from opening box to first flight around the living room? Oh and compulsory wheels up! Or was that just the ten year old me? (Wheels up doesn't apply to dinosaurs Jesper, can't work out how you'd do that!)

Looks like I'm in too.

Cheers

Chris

Well…
One of the dinosaurs in the kit is a flying one, and since it doesn’t have wheels, it can’t be build wheels down.  Pilot

I hope I get the kit soon! Normally it takes about a week from UK to Denmark.

Is there any plan for the starting time at the moment?

- Jesper.

Whip duly cracked, the usergroup has been set up. Join here and you will be able to access the poll to vote for the start date.

Once I scan the suggestion threads to see who's idea it was, I'll twist their arm ask them nicely to be GB leader  .
