Ayup All...

Finished at Last...

Airfix Pattern R502. The 'Evening Star' Class 9F Locomotive:

I've really enjoyed this, as a Kit, but not in Dapols Plastic. I shall get another in an Airfix Boxing and try THAT out. Since this pic was taken, I've finished the Smoke Deflectors with the Stars Nameplate, but i'm suffering from Camera Problems,so when i borrow my dads Camera later on today or Sunday, I shall take and post some better  'Finished' Shots.

Airfix/Dapol 'Evening Star'...

wow! that actually looks better than my hornby "real" evening star.
i intend to get some fox transfers for mine, just need to do a little nosing around still to place one on the now gone great central line
i like the bridge idea, i have various platforms and buildings half built plus at least five 16 ton mineral wagons, so one kit could grow into a 3 foot diorama!

Ayup Sarge & Phil...

Looks like i forgot to post a 'Sharper' 'finished' pic here for you to see...

I'm a little stalled on the Bridgework this week because of having 1500 tonnes of stuff on all day every day at 'Work' and thus have been unable to Indulge..

My G/F says that if i'm a good boy on Saturday, and chop some Triffids, I can have a Sunday all to myself... sounds good to me.

Thanks mate.

I can't wait to see yours and mine side by side at a show someday... Maybe Cosford or Telford, eh?

Great job as always. I looked at the picture and it occurred to me - I have one of those in the attic. I think mine is called "Morning Star" and it is one of my few belongings I didn't smash when I was a kid.
