I have just seen something I have never seen before. In a local antique (junk) shop, there is an Airfix 'Ship in an bottle' kit, the ship being a Cutty Sark. It comes in a large sturdy box, the bottle taking up most of the space. The model ship is fairly small (I don't know the scale). The shop is asking £22 for it, but perhaps more in hope than expectation. The previous owner seems to have started it, done some painting rather crudely, then given up, though most of the pieces seem to be there. It was so unusual that I did not think to check its vintage. It might date back to the 1960s. Someone on the site is bound to know.

Are you sure? I thought it was a plastic bottle with a loose bottom.
Monogram once has a pair of dragsters in cola bottles, they where entered from the bottom.
