Cheers Richard.....As mentioned elsewhere, I'll probably be building a 1/72 'Higgins Boat'.

All the best

Dear Sarge S,
I placed some detailed LCVP photos in the ATF ship and boat reference section.

Best of luck with your build.

Has it sunk ...?
I didn't know what a 'Higgins boat' was so went out to my LMS and checked it out.
Looking forward to seeing this one  ...

Yup!

With stuzzar building three already, I felt my 'Higgins Boat' was a bit superfluous, so after the inevitable change of plan, I shall be building this:

As this:

Pixture copyright feanor.....Hope you don't mind mate!

The speed of my (already overdue) build will be limited by:

a - Painting the pilot figure.....I absolutely hate painting pilots!

b - Availability of a spraybooth.....No way am I brushpainting this one!

More and some pictures when there is actually something worth posting!

FWIW & All the best
Sgt.S
PS - When the time comes, I may need some help with the decals for this one.....Any help would be much appreciated.

Roundels of the requisite size will be easy, the fin flash a little tougher. I'll have a root around for you Sarge.

Cheers for the offer Ian, but it's yet another change of plan for me!

I will probably be building the 1/72 PR.XIX from this boxing:

Which will save me a little bit of hassle, but cost me quite a bit of money, I suspect!

FWIW & All the best
Sgt.S
PS - Do we know which version of the Spitfire Mk.IX and Hurricane Mk.IIc are included in this set yet?

PPS - I'm just a little bit cross about all this!
