Hi guys, firstly may I offer my profound appologies for not posting anything sooner. Unfortunatly, life has a habit of coming between me and my precious modelling time. However, a start has now been made, and here it is.
After looking through all of the builds underway and those that have been completed, I decided that I would build something more recent, but not already offered for display (at least I Hope it hasn't been pledged!!). I therefore went for the Apache Longbow AH-64 (A03077). Ok I know that technicly this isn't an Airfix kit, but it came in an Airfix box, its in the catalogue, ergo it counts   .
So far I have finished the cockpit, and thought I'd post these piccies before closing it up. The seats have had new seatbelts added from Reheat spares, and the ip's have had individual instrument decals added, but nothing else has been done. I'm just going to close the fusalage up now, and will post progress tomorrow,
Cheers,
Mark

Ok, another little update. managed a good few hours on the Apache today, and its beginning to take shape nicely. I got the fusalage halves together, attached the engine pods, wings and stabilizer. I've assembled the underwing pods, and masked up the canopy. The canopy should be installed already, however, after 2 failed attempts, I have decided to leave it till tomorrow. It clicks in really nicely, but thats the problem. Inside the canopy is a switch panal, and each time I click the canopy in, the switch panal falls off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, thats it for tonight,
Mark

Ok, firstly appologies for the lack of updates. I am absolutly useless with these "work in progress things, so I've gone straight to the finished artical. Not a bad kit, I've missed the4 decals on the main rota, but didn't notice till I'd done the matt coat, so I'll live with it. Hope you like it,
Mark
