Hi Folks,
I am an Ex-Pat from Wolverhampton who just bought an airfix Spitfire Mk1 1:24 to build. I haven't done anything like this in ages and am eagily awaiting the arrival of my new kit.
I would like to build all of the 1:24 planes, including the new Mosquto when it comes out (which is going to be huge compared to the others).
I also like railway modelling (have plans for a N-gauge UK-based layout.
I live north of Philadelphia in the US and work in the pharma industry.
Just a note to say hello. Am I too late to join the group builds for the Spitfire this year?

Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy yourself and find the site useful. You can still join in the 1/24 scale GB, I think some of the participants are still working on their kits .

Thanks for the welcome folks. My kit should come in the next couple of days.
I am not sure that people understand me when I put on my Wolverhampton accent, but that's ok, not many people outside Wolverhampton could. I'm educating them about Wolverhampton Wanderers. That's a task in itself. For some reason when I say the name, they say, "What? Northampton Wanderers?" I still wonder why they say that.... |
