A friend of mine whilst searching his family tree has come across a member listed as died when the British submarine  E 50 was lost . Neither of us know anything much about naval stuff , and a quick search on the internet has not made us any the wiser . So I am asking for your help to try to find out some more , any assistance will be helpful . Since posting this I have discovered it is believed to have hit a mine in the North Sea , however any more info would be good .

Ah, WWI. That's my neck of the woods.

E50 is listed as being mined in the North Sea 31/1/18
