Actually this was chrome silver overpainted with clear red and clear blue/green - works really well too.

Well, there's actually a few more to go on and I note the typhoon now has a pitot tube and 1,000lbs (as opposed to the 'tiny' 250lbers that came with the kit) - so when weather clears up.....

Them 'big' kits certainly bring out the details to the extent that if taken in B/w i'm sure they would pss for the real thing.
