Hi all

Here is a brief history of my modelling time, started when I was 10, stopped when I was 16 never built many in that time just drifted in and out of it.

When I was 25, I started tabletop RPGs, which progressed into Miniature Wargaming during the next 15yrs years, I then became very interested in online gaming and my attention turned to that for the next 8yrs not done much for the last 2 yrs due to various circumstances, however having turned 50 this year I decided to look into a new hobby.

After looking at sites on the net I found myself here and thought “lets get an Airfix kit and give it a go” realy enjoyed my first build in a long time and am looking forward to many more.

John

Agreed, you've made a much better job of it than I did on coming back to the hobby.  :)

XslayerX yep this is Australian, was not sure myself when building, instructions stated RAAF so looked into it and found the following on http://www.rafweb.org

"Squadrons numbered in the 400 series were technically units of the RCAF, RAAF and RNZAF, but their members were placed under the operational control of the RAF  and are usually considered to be part of the RAF's organisational structure"
