By DaveCov: Model built by forum member Jonathan and posted on his behalf

1/48 SHAR FRS.1 made in 1997 which, save for the RBF tags (PP Aeroparts), intake mods, seat straps and decals, was built SFTB. Didn't bother rescribing, just picked out the panel lines with paint. This one ended up at RNAS Yeovilton in the officers mess.

The scheme is one of the Falkland's SHARs in Extra Dark Sea Grey.

This is my 1/48 SHAR, kit was from Feanor - a prize from the ATF RNLI quiz! Nice kit, I enjoyed making it. No major mods except to open up the auxilliary air intakes.

This was a secondary scheme used in the Falklands, note no roundels on the upperwings. I came across a magazine article on the subject a number of years ago and thought it was eyecatching, brush painted and details added with some artists pencils.
