I haven't started yet. However, I'll get my A into G this week!

I'm in deep trouble. I'd packed my kit into a packing box, along with another 1300+ kits. These had been catalogued, so I knew where they were. However, my laptop H/D stopped working. I had hoped that it would be an easy fix, but our IT guy said it was stuffed.

soooooooooooooo I have no idea where the kit is. Combined with my trip to UK (and now Canada) occupying November, I won't get this finished by 15 December.

I'll have to watch, I'm afraid. With interest, though!

Thanks to Prisca (and my forethought in providing here with an earlier draft of my database) I now know where my E boat is.

I still doubt that I'll get it done before the deadline though, as a couple of trips have cropped up (probably Perth, Western Australia, on the weekend, and possibly the French Alps for Christmas - which I hope works out, but who knows?).

If I make it OOB, then it will be done. I can always come back to it to make ammendments.

Eureka!

Not to worry if you don't get it going before your trip. Just enjoy your trip first, though I do expect you to get the S-Boat done on your return (and a postcard perhaps)!

Well, I spent the best part of 3hours looking for box "g" in the garage, only to realise that it was not, in fact, stolen, but incorporated into box "h".

1 e-boat safely extracted into the house!

I filed mould parting lines off parts 2 and 5 (the upright parts of the stand), and glued these to the bases (parts 1 and 4). I'll clean up the resulting seams with Gunze Mr Dissolved putty and smooth out the filing marks with Mr surfacer products later.

This will be, if you haven't guessed already, a full-hull model.

Yes, I've made a teensy weensy bit of progress. I started glueing the hull sides to the bottom. The bow warpage has been corrected, and the fit of the sides is improved by the placement of the deck. I'm tempted to replace the trasparencies with Klearfix.

No, unfortunately not, Dave. I arrived home from the UK to find that most of my things had been packed up. I was told that there were a couple of boxes in the garage of "half-built" models, but so far, I've been unable to locate this one!
