A splendidly made and finished 109, whatever kit and scale it is. I assume it's Airfix (no unmentionable tail markings).

If thats the standard after two models..well I think you have a bright future.

Both lovely models. I assume the spitfire is the Revell one..not the most pleasant of builds but nicely finished.

I've done one and the undercarriage just never looked right

Nope, it's the Airfix Douglas Bader Spitfire, A50030 as mentioned, a nice build, no major issues at all :)
