Humm i thought of the almighty question about figures an i came up with this for my upcoming model diorama...

How do you paint digital camo ? :?:

There's always one :roll:

As its 1/72 a rough approximation should do, so I would go for either flicking paint at the figures or a light stippling/poking action with an old paint brush or a rough sponge, it won't give a square/angular pattern, but on 1/72 it won't matter.

I would take a look at a full size figure and see what it looks like 10 - 20 feet away. At that distance you will not see the digital pattern, just the camouflage effect it creates. Paint the figure to match that. By the time it is weathered and highlighted any digital pattern in this scale would be lost anyway. That's how I would do it.

I just had a go at dry brushing this morning with a light amount of paint and it turned out ok, just next time think about what colours i apply.
