I have a plan for my models upon my death.

1. Models are to be inventoried.
2 Models are to be given to friends who love models

I'm leaving strict instructions that my built models are to be burned with me on the long ship.  The kits can be auctioned on eBay to buy some precious juice.

...it's a Mad Max reference.

...because after I die will be the nuclear apocalypse...

...oh never mind.

ME163 - lucky you to have so many friends. Even luckier to have friends who have any interest in models.

I am going to take all my kits with me.  Got to have something to do in the afterlife. :Whistling:

Robin.

Ayup 163...

I've a codicil in my will that the Stash will be sold to pay to house any remaining Cats I have left, and the built ones, Like Dancho, to have them shoved in the Longship and consigned to the Netherworld with Me...

Robin's afterlife solution might be a good one  but I suspect they might all melt rather quickly.

Think the burning with me option will not be allowed in the green world we are becomming.

Burial is not my wish, so my survivors will have to decide.
They would not all fit in with me any ways

Sounds like crushing or shredding will be the best options - for the models, not for you. Or did I not read that there are microbes that digest plastic? Could these be sold as aftermarket accessories or become standard issue in every box? Do I spot a gap in the  market, or would they eat their way out of the box? Perhaps paint could be impregnated with a chemical that only took effect after 100 years, at which point, it would dissolve the plastic. I think I need my nap now.

As people file into the church (to the sound of the Dambusters) have them pick a model of choice.
Then instead of all those silly hymns have 10 minutes of gratuitous playing and making engine sounds.
Then they can take them home to do with what they will.

I'm going to try and get something like 'listed building' status on mine so they can't be disposed of.  Then my wife and daughter will be stuck with them!

I think that my built ones will be appreciated by SWMBO, assuming I go before her (which, on the law of averages, is a fair assumption).

In any other event, I suspect that noone will want my built models. They might be sold on ebay, together with whatever is in the stash, I guess.

I have decided not to go until I am 165, that way I might have a chance of getting my stash built! :D

Since my son is a miniature wargamer and modeller he already has his eyes on them and I am no where near dead yet.
