Heres some photos of my models. I started last year, and collected mainly 1/72 figures to put in Dio's (that I've never made  ), until just a little while ago I bought some models, and now I'm hooked

Airfix 1/76 Opel Blitz
(first real model I've ever made)
Image

Pegasus LCVP 1/72
I bought two of these. Was going to put them in my D-Day Diorama, but changed plans and am now making an Iwo Jima Diorama instead. (The figures are not Done yet) The other one's door is open.
Image

Revell 1/72 King Tiger
Very easy build, was going to put it in an Arnhem Dio with my para`s and Germans. (My Arnhem Dio was started, but I messed up on a lot of things and decided to put it aside for a bit  )
Image

Revell 1/72 Sd.Kfz 251
(I decided not to put the rockrts on the side, and maybe put them in a Dio someday or turn them into a wargame piece)

Airfix 1/76 Sd.Kfz 222
The gas can is From the Airfix Buffalo+Jeep set

( any tips will be helpful  )

A very good start to your portfolio. I particularly liked the King Tiger. Very well done.

Thanks :)
It's not visible on the photo, but the tracks are all crooked and such (first time making tracks)

Nice start. I like the 251 and the Blitz best so far

Could you please restrict the size of pictures to a maximum width of 840 pixels. Any larger tends to stretch the screen width
Don't rely on Photobucket to resize your images correctly, they seem incapable of doing so   If you are looking for freeware to re-size then Irfan is as good as you can get.

Revel Supermarine Spitfire MkIV

Here's a new one with a bit of a story: I got this from my brother who thought he could build and paint it easily. He tried with a brush (He only paints Napoleonic Era models). It turned out looking bad, so he got frustrated and gave it to me, thinking it was beyond repair. I let it rot on my shelf for a while, until I was inspired by this website ( http://www.mondo72.com/desert.html ) to make a little Wargaming army (I am also reading and learning "Battle" by Charles Grant, an apparent "base" for most wargame rules). I decided to take on the chalenge and repaint it as air support for my 8th army. I started by spraying it with "Military Brown" for the camo (Covering the hidious Glued Green look). I then put putty over certain spots to make the camo effect ( http://www.plastikowe.pl/recenzje/48-su ... hmod-48024 ) and sprayed it again with "Sandgelb" enamel. i removed the putty that revealed a nice finish. I did a few little touch-ups. I only put on certain decals (the ones that don't indicate a specific plane). Since these photos, i've fixed the curbed antennae problem, and the missing paint from around the cockpit, but it still needs weathering. This is also my first airplane, and more of a free experiment that turned out better than expected  and I learned a lot from it. The original paint job gives it a battered look, wich I like

Long story short (I wrote it down twice but my computer failed again) I`ve been working from 7am-11pm and only got one day off, but now I have a relentless flu (again) and a serious case of strep throat. I made this a month ago but was not able to post because of these frustrating times.

Airfix 1/76 Matilda

Here`s a quick little update, I should have more, along with up along with new photos of the models above, but for today I will just post these:

8th Army Recon Jeep (Modified jeep from the Buffallo kit, figures are converted from the airfix 8th Army set, apart from the driver, who came with the Jeep) And yes, I do know that the guns are horrible looking, but it was hard to glue them to the little metal poles I had as a mount

Italeri 1/72 DAK

More photos of the mortar crew and others here:

Lately I have been painting my US Marines that will occupy the landing craft in my Iwo Jima Diorama, I have done many touch ups on figures and have even painted the US flags on my American Soldiers, while building my LCI, for general wargaming use (Commonwealth+American). I have also ordered the Plastic soldier Company's Panzer IV (includes 3 tanks and 6 drivers!), Italeri Sherman III (Includes two tanks, fast build) and the Italeri US Army (new retooled set). I also want to remind all that these figures are intended for wargaming purpouses, so detail isn't 100%.
Thanks for reading, and as you can see I finally have time on my hands, but I have loads to do :D
