Thanks for the comments all. A minor update this time, with three more Airfix kits. First off, the new Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk.22. The first is in Egyptian markings, and the second in Syrian. More pics  here.

I remeber the rebel base kit, as a kid every time I visited Beatties I would pick it up and study every inch very carfully.  I nagged but never managed to weasel one out of my parents .  Don't think I've ever seen one made up, thats a fantastic build PaveShaddow.

Thanks everyone. Two more to add, both Airfix. First another in 1/72. This is the Mirage F.1C in the new Libyan AF markings, as flown from Malta back to Libya this year. More Pics here.

Super Lynxes and I do like that Mirage.

Echo base turned our well too! Is that black dot Darth Vader and the tall figure near the Falcon is Chewie?
